AGUACATE LAGOON - A tour through the Mennonite community at Spanish Lookout will have you traveling through farmland, subtropical forest and savannah to a bird watcher’s paradise. Along the way and at the lake itself you may encounter a variety of hawks, puff birds, curassows, herons and jacamars to name a few. The Aguacate Lagoon is 20 minutes outside of Spanish Lookout.

BELIZE ZOO - The Belize Zoo is touted as the “best little zoo in the world” and rightly so! Kept in their natural habitats the zoo shows over 150 animals which represents over 45 species that are native to Belize. As a country with large areas reserved for protection you get to understand why it is important to protect these areas so that the animals can be sustained for generations to come.

BELIZE BOTANIC GARDENS - Explore 45 acres of native and exotic plants. There are orchids, the plants of the Maya, the Fire Tower and so much more. See beautiful plants in beautiful settings and learn more about the plant world. This tour is done in combination with a visit to the Mayan temple Xunantunich. |

BARTON CREEK - This cave system is 7.5km, where the use of canoes and high powered lights will enable the visitor to see stalactites and stalagmites hanging high over head. Paddling into the Maya underworld or Xibalba ( she-bal-ba) you will learn the significance of the cave to the ancient Mayan people. Skeletal remains, artifacts and colorful formations can be seen. This tour can be combined with either a tour to Xunantunich or Mountain Pine Ridge or done alone. |

CHE CHEM HA - The 45 minute uphill trek allows you to see the most amazing collection of Mayan pottery. There are many ladders leading to chambers high within the cave where undisturbed for the last 2000 years lie priceless artifacts used for their ritualized ceremonies, grains, pottery and ceremonial like altar. This tour can be combined with a tour to Xunantunich. |

ATM ( ACTUN TUNICHIL MUKNAL ) CAVE - A 45 minute hike includes three stream crossings and passes through the Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve.
Left by the Maya centuries ago, you will see burial chambers with calcified remains, cultural artifacts and ceremonial vessels. A good level of physical fitness is required, ability to swim a plus. You will be getting wet so bring along extra clothing. Good tennis or boots required. |

XUNANTUNICH - A hand- cranked ferry will take you across the Mopan River to see this Mayan temple where El Castillo, the largest pyramid, rises 130 feet above the main plaza. One of the best preserved ancient stelae is housed in a small weather-proof building for conservation purposes. Climbing to the top of El Castillo gives a breath-taking panoramic view over the jungle canopy. |

CARACOL - An archaeological site situated within the Chiquibul Forest Reserve is the most extensive Maya site known in Belize. It is one of the largest and tallest man made structure in the land. At Caracol you will find temples, ball courts, Maya artifacts and an intriguing ceremonial altar. Visiting Caracol lends important insights into how the ancient Maya lived. |

CAHAL PECH - A Maya site that was a hilltop palacio home for an elite Maya family. It dates back to the Classic Period and is a collection of 34 structures.Situated on just two acres the site has several, temples, ball courts, residential buildings, a sweat house and an altar. This tour is offered in combination with a tour of Xunantunich. |

MOUNTAIN PINE RIDGE - This Reserve covers nearly 300sq miles of unpaved roads and nature trails. It consists of peaks, gorges and rolling hills formed from some of the oldest rocks in Central America. Here you will find waterfalls and pools such as the Rio On Pools, Rio Frio Cave, Big Rock Falls and Hidden Valley Falls. |

CAVE TUBING/ZIP LINE TOUR - On your air filled tube, float on a crystal clear refreshing river and see stalactites and stalagmites as you drift through the cave system. You will be fitted with life vest, head lamp and tube. With the zip line you will fly through the air surrounded by nature, what a thrill! Guides are there to ensure personal safety and all necessary equipment is provided. The Cave Tubing can be done as a tour by itself or combined with the Zip Line Tour. |
